the New Alresford Town Trust); printed draft scheme for alteration of
a scheme of 1909 (amended in 1922), providing for the discontinuance
of the school and the use of the income of the Foundation to fund exhibitions
assisting pupils to attend schools, universities, etc; photostat copies
of two letters from George Bingham, Clerk to New Alresford Town Trust,
to the Charity Commission concerning a proposed grant of a right of way
over the Trust's land at Pound Hill to the proposed new buildings of
Perins School, 1907; correspondence between the Town Trust, Hampshire
County Council, the Ministry of Education and the Charity Commission
concerning the £25 annual sum which the Trust was obliged to pay
to the Perins Foundation, 1933 and 1960; printed copy of scheme for the
Perins Foundation made by the Minister of Education, 1961, with related
correspondence; and correspondence with Alresford Chamber of Trade about proposal to hang the portrait
of Dr Henry Perin, founder of Perins School, in the Alresford Town
